De schering (zeg maar de lengte draden, waar je de franje nog van ziet) is Alpaca van Drops en de inslag is sokkenwol type Hundertwasser van Opal.
Ik heb er blokken ingeweven zodat je hier en daar meer van de schering ziet, aan de achterkant is het precies andersom. Heerlijk zacht.
And she keeps on weaving :-)
The warp is Alpaca from Drops and the weft is sock yarn, Hundertwasser from Opal.
The blocks show more of the warp and at the back it's the other way around.
It's so very soft.

Woensdag is het weversmarkt in Hoorn, ik heb al duizend schietgebedjes gedaan dat het dan toch iets mooier weer zal zijn.
Wednesday we have a weavers fair in Hoorn, a beautiful small city. I made about a thousend little prayers (we have such a nice word for it in Dutch 'schietgebedje' but I can't find it in any dictionary) for better weather. We have had no rain for a very long time and now we have all the rain in one day. And that for one and a half week already, every day!

The colors in the scarf certainly appeal to me. I think they'd be the perfect accompaniment to blue jeans, my winter uniform.
