Het weefsel in wording. Het weeft heerlijk! Maar mooi materiaal is altijd een plezier om mee te werken. De twee sjaals zijn inmiddels klaar en liggen te rusten. Dan de franjes nog en de was. Ik ben heel benieuwd hoe het met het intrekken van de colcolastic gaat.
The weaving is great, but good material is always a joy to work with. The scarfs are finished but the fringes and I have to wash them. I'm very curious about the behaviour of the colcolastic.......
Grappige foto, vinden jullie ook niet? Het is net alsof het garen zweeft maar helaas, het is een vervelende schaduw die ik steeds weer krijg als ik met het toestel van manlief fotografeer. Hoe ik dat kan vermijden? geen idee.
Het garen is gesponnen met merino wol van Dutch Wool Diva en getwijnd met een draadje uit mijn voorraad. Weet alleen niet meer wat het is. Ik denk iets van katoen/viscose. Het komt in elk geval bij Maria van der Meer vandaan, ooit. Maar het heeft een mooi glansje en ik ben er blij mee.

But it is a false shadow wich I don't know how to avoid when using DH camera.
The yarn I spun is meriono wool from Dutch Wool Diva and I twined it with an offwhite yarn I had in my stash. I don't know what it is though. I think a cotton/viscose or something like that, it has a little shine, very pretty.

The weaving makes me jealous. I hope to achieve your level of ease at the loom one day. I don't know how you made those beveled edges. Was that from a pattern? Just lovely Marion.
